The Hydrology & EcoClimate Lab (HECL) seeks to understand hydrologic, ecological, and climate processes and their interactions and uses our understanding toward sustainable and climate-resilient management of water resources and water-related disasters. The study areas range from the regions to the globe, focusing on Asia and the high latitudes. We develop and use various numerical models, including the land surface and ecosystem models, with ground-based and remotely sensed observational data.
